Tagged by the lovely and talented

If you have not visited the lovely Auburn’s wish list, SAAK strongly advises that you do so …. NOW … go on, go .. SAAK will still be here when you get back, trust me, Auburn’s list poops all over SAAK’s.

Okay, now that you know what a good list reads like … the following list of wants is no particular order… just a random hodge podge of thoughts.

Unfortunately SAAK is just a boy, his wants are neither numerous nor interesting, but if only for the fact that Auburn though of him on her tag ….lets go …

SAAK wants to want to travel, the romantic ideal of a secluded getaway or visual splendour of a famous locale sounds great, but SAAK is very practical, he knows that, at the end, you just have to return to the mundane.

SAAK wants to be more artistic, he loves to draw, he just sucks, but hey at the end of the day SAAK really is not out to prove himself.

SAAK wants to know what it would be like to be loved. Who are we kidding here, SAAK would give his eternal soul to know one day of someone loving him voluntarily … but hey, here comes that realistic streak again.

SAAK wants to be financially well off. Mainly because he’s not

SAAK wants a family he could call his own. He is certain he would make a great father, but, having lived 30 years without a single proper date, that wish may well makes its way down to be bottom of the too hard pile. As an aside, SAAK is the last of his name. He has no brothers nor male cousins who carry his surname, I think is kills his parents to know the name dies with him.

SAAK want to dedicate more time to reading. It sucks being an adult working all day long…. Sometime he just wants to hide away with a good book and drown in fantasy, even if it is someone else’s.

SAAK wants females to be more approachable, just once he would like to be in a bar and have a girl come up and say hello, is this seat taken.

SAAK wants to be a better writer, more creative, witty and charming. But he will leave that up to the wonderful people who’s blogs brighten up the gloomiest of days in SAAKland...

Oh well, nose to the grind stone time again..

It is still causing the head some owies that the five weeks holidays SAAK was soooo looking forward to is gone. Back to work now, but that’s okay, work is a ten minute walk away and get this, it starts at 9 and finishes at 5.30.. no more of that 7.30 to 6 shite for SAAK.

Last week in Sydney was a bit of an odd one … got there New Years Day .. and ohmyfuckinggodhowfuckinghotisit was all that was running through SAAK’s head. Quickly take the bags (okay bag, SAAK is a boy and pack’s like one) and straight to the nearest pub (the Doncaster). Trouble with that was, it was like walking straight into a hair drier on full blast. To make matters worse, days one, two three and four of the cricket were all RAIN DELAYED .. WTF. Being the smart blokes we are, my old man and myself, when waking to see rain on day five figure "right, this is the worst day we’ve seen yet, let’s just bugger off" …. Day five just happened to be the best day’s cricket of the match … oh well.

It is somewhat amazing to SAAK that all the people at the new job are nice, there is no completely insane woman screaming at the top of her voice about the most inane of "issues", surely that was just a fluke, it can keep up .. can it?

As you can tell, not that exciting, but hey, you’ve been here before … SAAK’s an accountant for fuck’s sake, give him a break.

Byebye now
