A random whinge for no apparent reason

SAAK is going back to the big bad city next week to do an accreditation course, this, given the current climate equates to news… oh well.. however, this is not the cause for this whinge.

Prior to commencing the week long course, one needs to complete four exams. Now the requisite reading tallies to just shy of eight hundred pages .. yes, about an eighth of a tree.

Now SAAK is not necessarily the most conscientious of students … he often received “if SAAK would apply himself” and “ …. very disruptive” comments on school reports, but about a third the way through the first section, SAAK decided “bugger it, just do the exams, let the chips fall as they may”.

SAAK will let you in on a little secret, he has never failed anything academic, life yes, academic no.

Having now only glossed over the readings, SAAK has managed to gain scores of 83, 95, 97 and 100 in his four exams…not bad, even if SAAK has to pat his own back (mind you there were sacrifices, SAAK limited himself to less than 6 drinks each of the preceding evenings).

Here is SAAK’s whinge. Upon hearing how SAAK had not exactly applied himself to the task, the only response to SAAK’s success that his father could muster was “well…. that does not give me a great deal of confidence in the industry then”…

cest la vie

That is quite a funny remark though...

I can say with certainty that I have no faith in the industry either, but it's unrelated to your success or failure.

How is life, anyway? I've been meaning to call.

Is life.... Super?

Ah bugger all parents. You should have told him how well you did, and not how you did it. That just gives them ammunition.
